CHARLES R. HARPER Mrs. Maymie E. Harper, wife of Charles R. Harper, died at her home, 813 North Market street, Wednesday morning at 10:30 o’clock following an illness of about seven months. She was a daughter of the late Jacob F. and Matilda K. Palmer and had been a resident of this county all her life. She was aged sixty years. She was highly esteemed and much loved by those who knew her. She took an active part in church work and for many years was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed church choir at Utica Mills, which was under the direction of Charles J. Remsburg, of Lewistown. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Irene Harper Zimmerman and Miss Madolyn Harper, both at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Eugene Wachter, of Buckeystown, and Mrs. Charles H. Storr, of this city, also survive; also one brother, Grayson E. Palmer, Thurmont, one niece and five nephews. The funeral will take place Saturday afternoon, leaving the late home at 2 o’clock, with services at the Utica church at 2:30 o’clock. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. M. L.
