MRS. HOFFMAN
  Mrs. Mary Hoffman, wife of Joseph Hoffman, of Pleasant Walk, died at her home 
Monday, aged 78 years, 7 months and 15 days.  For several months prior to her 
death she suffered from dropsy.  She was the mother of twelve children, eight 
of whom are living, also forty-one grandchildren and twelve great 
grandchildren.  Her funeral took place at Pleasant Walk on Wednesday, Revs. 
Byrd and Remsburg, of Myersville, officiating.
