Alex. Johnson, colored, died suddenly Saturday last at 11:30 
o’clock at the store of Wm. Purdy, on the corner of Fifth street 
and Klinehart’s alley, of a disease of the heart.  He was a hod 
carrier and lived on Klinehart’s alley, between Sixth and Seventh 
streets.  The deceased was about forty years old and leaves a 
wife and three children.
