Leslie F. Kefauver
  Leslie Franklin Kefauver, 408 North Bentz street, died Thursday morning at 
11 o’clock in Frederick Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for the 
past three days.  He was 76 years of age.
  Mr. Kefauver was born in Middletown valley and was a son of the late Charles 
P. and Laura Koogle Kefauver.  Surviving are his wife, the former S. Ada 
Zimmerman Kefauber and one son, Charles H. Kefauver.  Two sisters, Mrs. Joseph 
Houff, Baltimore and Mrs. Laurens Phebus, Frederick.  Several nieces and 
nephews also survive.
  Mr. Kefauver had engaged in farming for a long period of years in the 
vicinity of Walkersville.  In recent years he engaged in the plumbing business 
and until retirement had been employed by the Sherwood Division of the 
Sinclair Refining Company.  He formerly was a member of the Walkersville 
Lutheran Church.
  The body rest at the funeral home, 8 East Patrick Street, where friends may 
call after noon today.  Services will be held there Saturday morning at 11 
o’clock, Interment will be in Mount Olivet cemetery.  C. E. Cline and Son, 
funeral directors.
