The News (Frederick, MD) November 13, 1886
The death of Mr. John Lindsay, of Unionville, occurred at that place this 
morning at 6 o'clock. Mr. Lindsay had reached the advanced age of 87 years, 11 
months and 1 day. He had been a member of the M. E. church since 1829, and was 
a man of the purest Christian character. His remains will be interred in 
Linganore cemetery to-morrow at 2 o'clock p.m.
