Mt. de Sales, near Catonsville, died at that institution on Friday evening after an illness of several years from consumption. Sister Mary Rose made her vows at the convent in Georgetown, D. C., in 1851. ?a?ed when Mt. de Sales was established in 1852, she was transferred there, remaining until her death. She was the niece of the late Rev. Father McElroy, who died at the Novitiate in this city, in September 1877. She was considered one of the most efficient teachers at the academy.
