He was a son of the late Peter and Myra Shank Marker of near Myersville and was a member of the Myersville Lutheran church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Burtner and Mrs. Teddie Beachley of Locust Valley; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Shank and Mrs. Charles Rowe, and a brother, Carlton Marker, all of Myersville. Seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. The remains will be moved to the Burtner residence Tuesday morning. Services will be held there Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. Raymond Markley officiating. Interment will be in the Boonsboro cemetery. The Gladhill Co., funeral directors.
