Murphy Mrs. Effie (Reddick) Murphy, a native of Walkersville, died at her home near Kentland, Ind., Tuesday night at 11:15 o’clock. She was aged 58 years. She was married in Walkersville about 35 years ago, and moved to Kentland, and during that time has returned to Frederick county three times to visit relatives. Besides her husband, Eugene K. Murphy, also a former resident of Frederick county, she is survived by ten children, all residing, near Kentland, five grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Also surviving are the following: Her step-mother, Mrs. Mary Reddick, Walkersville, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. H. J. Arnold [sic s/b Armold], Columbia City, Ind., Mrs. G. W. Cecil, Mrs. Roscoe Ports, and Miss Nannie Reddick, all of Walkersville; J. W. Reddick, Woodsboro; Mehrl L. Reddick, Walkersville, and Mr. D. Leonard Reddick, McDonough School, Reisterstown.
