RIGGS Winfield Grant Riggs, well-known farmer of near McKaig, died at the Frederick County Emergency Hospital, Friday evening at 6.45 o’clock after six months illness, aged 77 years. He was a son of the late Plummer and Louise Wood Riggs, and was a member of Glade Reformed church, Walkersville. He is survived by one son, Ralph W. Riggs, near McKaig; one brother, Charles Riggs, Tiffin, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Jessie R. Zimmerman, Mrs. Alice C. Crumbaugh, Miss Ida M. Riggs, Frederick, and Mrs. William H. Cramer, near Walkersville. A number of grandchildren also survive. The body is at the funeral home, 106 East Church street from where the funeral will take place Monday morning at 10:30 o’clock.
