SANDS Edward G. Sands, more familiarly known by the name Archie Sands, died yesterday afternoon at the home of his brother, Lieutenant William E. Sands, Hagerstown, from consumption, aged 36 years. His condition had been critical for over a week. The deceased was a son of the late Robert Sands and was born in Hagerstown. He was well known in Frederick, having been connected with a number of shows in the capacity of advance agent. Among these were Pawnee Bill’s Wild West Show, Walter L. Main’s circus, the John Robinson Shows and others. The past two years he was with the well known A. G. Fields’ Minstrels.
