One of the best known and most successful business men of Middletown
Died at home Sunday morning
Son of George and Mary A (Routzahn) Shank, both natives of this county
Born on a farm near Myersville January 7, 1863
In business with his brothers John H Shank and Martin L Shank
Martin L Shank died last Thursday January 23
Survived by wife the former Miss Anna D Keller, daughter of Henry Keller
Survived by 2 brothers:
  Carlton P Shank, Myersville
  George A Shank, Jacksonville, Fla
Funeral from the Lutheran church, Myersville, Tuesday
Burial in the Shank mausoleum in the Reformed cemetery
