Shank Frederick A. Shank, a farmer residing near Taneytown, died at his home Monday evening at 7 o’clock from complications. He had been incapacitated for a number of years, but had been confined only for the past week. He was aged 46 years, two months and three days. He was a son of the late Augustus and Elizabeth Shank and was married to Miss Mary J. Lambert, who survives, with a daughter, Mrs. Albert Welty, Taneytown, and a son, Frederick L. Shank, at home. Two brothers and two sisters also survive as follows: Mrs. Jerry Garner, near Taneytown; Mrs. George Newcomer, Taneytown; Clarence Shank, Taneytown, and Luther Shank, Johnsville. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 1 o’clock from the home with services in charge of Rev. Guy P. Bready, pastor of Taneytown Reformed church, and interment in the Reformed cemetery. The following will serve as pallbearers: Stewart King, Birnie Fair, Wilbert Hess, Lewis Boyd, Harry Nusbaum and James Harner.
