John D. Shank

  John David Shank, 83, of Macclenney, Fla., died Wednesday morning in 
Jacksonville Hospital after a brief illness.  He was born in Frederick County, 
a son of the late Otho A. and Elizabeth Shank.  
  Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Laura Newcomer, Taneytown, and a number of 
nieces and nephews. 
  He operated the Shank Dairy in Baldwin, Florida, for many years until he 
retired several years ago.
  Burial services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Mt. Hope Cemetery, 
Woodsboro, with the Rev. Charles A. Pollard, pastor of the Utica Lutheran 
Church, officiating.  Powell and Hartzler are funeral directors.
