RUSSELL R SHANK
  Russell R. Shank, 76, died Wednesday at his home in Myersville after a short 
illness.  Before retirement, he was a farmer and laborer.
  He was born near Myersville, a son of the late Carlton P. and Susan Palmer 
Shank.
  Mr. Shank was a member of the Myersville Church of the Brethren.  He leaves 
one brother, Roy H. Shank of Hillcrest Heights; and two sisters, Miss Bessie 
Shank and Miss Mary Shank, both of Hillcrest Heights, and a number of nieces 
and nephews.
  Friends may call at the Bittle Funeral Home in Myersville, where services 
will be held Saturday at 2 p.m.  The Rev. Herman L. Baliles, his pastor will 
officiate.  Burial will be in the Grossnickle Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
