SIGLER Mr. Daniel Sigler, of Burkittsville, whose death was mentioned, was aged 60 years and leaves a wife and six children. In all his dealings with his fellowman he was always above the shadow of reproach. Honest, courteous and kind, he enjoyed a large circle of friends. He had been a Christian man and a Christian worker in his church for many years. He was a member and elder in the Winebrenarian Church, near his home, and it was largely through his individual efforts and generosity that the congregation was able to build their handsome new house of worship several years ago. His funeral took place on Wednesday last from the Lutheran Church in Burkittsville. Rev. Philbower officiated, and interment was made in the adjoining graveyard. Additional Comments: There is no mention of what day he died, could be the last of Dec 1896 or first couple days of 1897.
