She was a very estimable young lady and was held in the esteem of a wide circle of friends. For a number of years she taught school in the North Market street school and was compelled to resign on account of ill health. Besides her mother, Miss Smallwood is survived by three sisters and one brother: Mrs. O. K. Bennett, Mrs. Wm. Cook and Miss Rose Smallwood of this city, and Mr. Charles Smallwood of Baltimore. The funeral will take place on Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Services will be held at the house and interment will be made in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
