  The funeral of Mrs. Carrie Myrtle Smith, wife of C. Frank Smith, 530 Trail 
avenue, who died at the Frederick Memorial Hospital early Saturday morning 
took place from the funeral home, 106 East Church street Monday afternoon at 2 
o’clock.  Rev. Dr. Raymond E. Wilhelm pastor Grace Evangelical and Reformed 
church officiated.  Members of the Fidelis Bible Class of Grace Evangelical 
and Reformed church of which the deceased was a member attended the services 
in a body.  There were many floral emblems.  Pallbearers were: Ira F. Ray, 
Nevin T. R. Waskey, John S. Rubeck, George A. Webster, Frank W. Cole and James 
C. Biehl.  Interment in Mount Olivet cemetery.  M. R. Etchison and Son, 
funeral directors.
