The Daily News, Frederick, Maryland, Thursday, 25 August 1892
The funeral of Mr. John J. Smith took place from his residence in Feagaville at 2 o’clock 
yesterday afternoon.  The Rev. Hasskarl officiated, assisted by the Rev. H. Ditmar.  The 
pall bearers were W. H. Harry, T. Heddington, C.E. Feaga, J. Summers, H. Wren, F. Cecil.  
Interment was made in Mt. Olivet cemetery.  F. Schroeder was the undertaker.
