Elmer Clayton Speaks
  Elmer Clayton Speaks, of Thurmont, died this morning at ten o’clock at the 
Maryland State Sanatorium, near Sabillasville, where hea had been a patient 
nine months.  He was aged 67 years, two monts, and 24 days and was a son of 
the late Charles E. and Margaret Anders Speaks, of Creagerstown.
  Survivors are one brother, David Speaks, Creagerstown; two sisters, Mrs. 
Charles Stitely and Mrs. Della Walters of Thurmont; and a number of nieces and 
nephews.
  The body is at the funeral home in Thurmont where friends may call ntil the 
services Thursday afternoon at two o’clock.  Interment in the United Bretheren 
cemetery, Thurmont.  M. L. Creager and Son, funeral directors.
