MR. FRANK STAUFFER
  Mr. Frank Stauffer, 83, well-known resident of Walkersville, died Sunday at 
Frederick Memorial Hospital.  Born in Walkersville May 21, 1889, he was the 
son of the late George Wesley and Clara Neidig Stauffer.
  Mr. Stauffer, a retired farmer, was the developer of Spring Garden Estates, 
near Walkersville, a member of the Frederick Fair Board, a member of the 
Walkersville Volunteer Fire Co., and a life-long member of the Elks.
  Surviving are his wife, one son, George C. Stauffer, Walkersville; one 
daughter, Mrs. Ellsworth Iager (Mary Elizabeth Staugger), Laurel; one half-
brother, George Harris Stauffer, Pine Cliff; five grandchildren, and three 
great-grandchildren.
  Family will receive friends at the Barton Funeral Home in Walkersville today 
from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Viewing will also be allowed at 12 
noon Wednesday at the Glade United Church of Christ, where funeral services 
will be held at 1 p.m. with Rev. Fred A. Trimble officiating.  Interment will 
be in Mr. Olivet Cemetery.  Graveside services will be conducted by officers 
and members of Frederick Elk Lodge 684.
