Dr. Louis E Stauffer
  Dr. Louis Ezra Stauffer, well-known retired druggist of Union Bridge, died 
at 3:15 pm Sunday at his home at the age of 87.  He was the husband of the 
late Cora Stauffer, and operated a pharmacy in Union Bridge for 55 years.
  He was born in Carroll County, a son of the late Ezra S. and Fannie 
Slingluff Stauffer.  He is survived by a niece, Mrs. Ralph Shields of 
Baltimore.
  Dr. Stauffer was a member of the Presbyterian Church, and the Sulphur 
Springs I.O.O.F. of New Windsor.
  Friends may call on Tuesday evening at the D D Hartzler funeral home in 
Union Bridge.  Funeral services will be held there at 10:30 am Wednesday, 
conducted by Rev. Cyril Hoover.  Interment will follow in Pipe Creek Cemetery.
