Charles Topper, who it will be remembered was killed on Monday night 
last by Daniel Kennedy, at Grotf Hall, was buried from the residence 
of the family, on East Patrick street, yesterday afternoon at halp 
past four o’clock; Rev. John J. Kautner officiating.  The pall bearers 
were Messrs. F. T. Rhodes, Ed. Schroeder, James Conrad, Henry Falk, 
Julius Grahe and Charles Young.  The Junior Fire Company, Board of 
Alderman and Police Department attended the funeral.  The remains 
were interred in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  F. Schroeder, undertaker.
