TROUT Charles H. Trout, well-known retired farmer of Walkersville, died at his home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock after a protracted illness, aged 83 years, one month and 12 days. He farmed for years near Walkersville and retired about 29 years ago, when he took up residence in Walkersville. He was a member of the Memorial Methodist church, Walkersville. Born at Troutville, he was a son of the late John and Catherine Trout. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cora Anders Trout, and the following sons and daughters: G. Cleveland and Claude Trout, this city; Harry Trout, Detour; Glenn Trout, Walkersville; Mrs. Baxter Murphy, Mrs. George Zimmerman and Mrs. Harry C. Smith, Walkersville; 31 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The body will be taken to the late residence this afternoon at 3 o’clock. Services will be held there Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock. Interment in Mt. Hope cemetery, Woodsboro. G. C. Barton, funeral director.
