Webster, who died of paralysis on Saturday morning, takes place at Mt. Olivet cemetery this afternoon at 2 o’clock. He was one of the original members of the Junior Fire company, having been one of three to first think of organizing. Mr. Wm. Carlton and A. K. Mantz, the two others, made the proposition, which was agreed to by Mr. Webster in Nov. 1838, and was one of the first Board of Directors. His membership extended over a period of twenty-six years and it was mainly due to his efforts and work in its behalf that a permanent organization was effected. At the time of his death he was a member of All Saints Episcopal church, and constituted one of the vestry. The deceased was born on February 9th, 1819, and is consequently in the sixty- fifth year of his age.
