She formerly resided in this city on the site of Besant de Knott's grocery store. The deceased leaves three children, one of whom, a daughter, married Prof. Ide, of Richmond, Va. Another married William A. Stuart, of Washington D.C., and a son, Charles B. Woodward, resides in Wilmington, Del. Alex. Woodward, of this city, is her brother, and M.A. Woodward is a nephew. Her remains will be brought to this city for interment. The Daily News Frederick, MD Tuesday, January 28, 1890 The remains of Mrs. Lydia A. Woodward, who died in Washington, Sunday evening last, were brought to this city on the 1.30 o'clock train this afternoon, and conveyed to Mt. Olivet, where they were interred. Rev. L. Kuhlman officiating. The pall bearers were L.M. Engelbrecht, Wm. H. Moberly, B.H. Blackston, L.S. Congan, A.H. Shaffner, John C. Hardt. H.N. Etchison & Son had charge of the funeral arrangements.
