Mr. Jones, of the Presbyterian church of Loas Angeles, officiated and interment was at Inglewood Park cemetery. Mr. Zeigler was born in this city May 4, 1864. On October 13, 1889, he married Miss Nettie M. Cross of Independence, Missouri. To this union on son was born who died at the age of seven years. His grandfather on his mother’s side was first cousin to President Harrison. He was a member of A. F. and A. M. Gates City Lodge No. 522 of Kansas City, Missouri, also a 32nd Degree member of Scottish Rite of Kansas City and belonged to the Ararat Shrine. He was employed by the Frisco Railroad Co. of Kansas City, Missouri for over thirty years. In 1918 they moved to Oregon and resided there for three years before going to California, where he has resided. He had been in poor health for several years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nettie M. Zeigler, one brother, George Z. Zeigler and one sister, Miss Fannie L. Zeigler, this city, a cousin, C. E. Keyser, a number of nieces and nephews.
