ZIMMERMAN Mr. Henry O. Zimmerman, a well-known retired farmer, and one of the most prominent citizens of the county, died about 4 o’clock this morning at his home in Walkersville, of paralysis, aged 73 [or 78] years. He was farmer in the district for many years, but resided near New Midway for several years. Mr. Zimmerman is survived bya widow and three sons and six daughters; Mr. William G. Zimmerman, cashier of the Citizen’s National Bank; Mr. Robert Zimmerman, of the United States Express Company, this city; Mr. Charles Zimmerman, of Walkersville; Mrs. E. T. Dorcus, of Port Deposit; Mrs. Bettie V. Stauffer, at home; Mrs. Frank Burrier, Mrs. Leslie Kefauver, of Walkersville; Mrs. Harry Saylor and Mrs. Fred. Roseman, of York, Pa. Two borthers and one sister also survive – Ex-Sheriff Daniel P. Zimmerman, of Woodsboro; Dr. L. M. Zimmerman, of Hagerstown, and Mrs. Ann Rebecca Roderick, of near Walkersville. The funeral will take place Thursday morning at 10 o’clock, with services at the Woodsboro Lutheran Church and interment at Mount Hope cemetery.
