Mrs. Wilma I. Zimmerman
  Mrs. Wilma I. Zimmerman, 89, Walkersville, died Friday, Nov. 9, at Vindobons 
Nursing Home, Braddock Heights.  She was the wife of the late George E. 
Zimmerman.
  Born in Troutville Sept. 11, 1890, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. 
and Cora E. Anders Trout.
  Mrs. Zimmerman was a member of Walkersville United Methodist Church and a 
past president of the Women’s Society of Christian Service.
  She is survived by on son, Charles W. Zimmerman, Silver Spring; one 
daughter, Mrs. Haller (Charlotte) Best, Walkersville; one brother, Glenn 
Trout, Walkersville; one sister, Mrs. Harry C. (Abigail) Smith, Frederick; 
four grandchildren, the Rev. Charles M. Zimmerman of Statesville, N.C., John 
T. Best II of Walkersville, Mrs. John (Jackie) Harling of Dover, Del., and 
Mrs. Kenneth (Gana) Eaves of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; five great-grandchildren and 
several nieces and nephews.
  Friends may call at Stauffer Funeral Home, Walkersville, from 10 a.m. to 9 
p.m., Monday, Nov. 12.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home 
from 7-9 p.m. Monday.
  Services will be held from the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13.  
Her pastor, the Rev. Jack H. Cassell, and the Rev. Charles M. Zimmerman will 
officiate.  Interment will be in Glade Cemetery, Walkersville.  In lieu of 
flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Walkersville United Methodist 
Church.
