Stitely, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde R. Stitely, Catoctin Furnace, and Charles W. Bentz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Bentz, Graceham, took place Thursday evening, October 23 at eight o’clock at the Catoctin Methodist church in the presence of the immediate families. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Adam E. Grim, pastor of the bride. The bride was attired in an aqua wool dress with black accessories and a corsage of red rosebuds and baby breath. She was attended by her sister. Miss Lorraine Stitely, who wore a wool dress of lime and black accessories and a pink rosebud corsage. James B. Bentz, brother of the groom served as best man. The Bride attended Thurmont High School and is now employed at the Claire Frock Co., in Thurmont. The groom, a graduate of Thurmont High School, class of ’46, is employed as a truck driver. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the bride’s home. Upon their return from a short wedding trip the couple will reside at the home of the groom.
