Remsburg and Miss Alice G. Breneman, daughter of Mr. John B. Breneman, was yesterday afternoon solemnized at the residence of the bride’s parents, on the Hamburg road, about two miles from this city. Miss M. E., sister of the bride and Mr. C. D. Remsburg, brother of the groom, occupied second place at the wedding. The ceremony was performed by Rev. S. M. Hench, pastor of Reformed Church at Walkersville. The table was well spread will all that palate could desire, and was furnished from the stock of Mr. Charles R. Hardt, confectioner, in this city. Prof. Geo. Ed. Smith presided at the organ and rendered “Mendelsohn’s Wedding March.” Mr. Remsburg, who is a resident of this county, in the vicinity of Walkersville, and the son of Mr. Edward Remsburg, is a promosing young man, and with his pretty bride as a help mate; we feel sure of a happy life being before them. The pair left on the 4:15 train to spend a few days in Washington.
