BROWNING – PURDUM
  Miss Rose B. Purdum, daughter of William H. Purdum, of near Fountain Mills, 
was married to Samuel W. Browning, of Ijamsville, at Bethesda M. E. Church, at 
2 p. m. December 24, Rev. William Harris, of Clarksburg, officiating.  The 
wedding march was played by Miss Della Walker.  Miss Flora Purdum was maid of 
honor.  Messrs. Herbert Darby, Harry Layton, Bradley Purdum and Clarence acted 
as ushers.  The newly wedded couple took the afternoon train for a trip to 
Washington.
