Whipp, Braddock, became the bride of Ralph C. Rohrer, son of Harry D. Rohrer, of Myersville, and the late Mrs. Rohrer, Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock in a double ring ceremony at the Lutheran parsonage in Burkittsville. Rev. H. C. Erdman, the bride’s pastor, officiated. The bride was attired in a beige suit, with dark brown accessories and wore a brown orchid corsage. She had as her matron of honor Mrs. G. Franklin Freed, Jr., of Frederick, who wore a gray suit with black accessories, and an orchid corsage. Mr. Freed served as the groom’s best man. The bride is a graduate of the Frederick High School, class of 1946, and is employed as a stenographer in the County Commissioners’ office at the Court house. The groom, a graduate of the Middletown High School, class of 1941, served in the Army for more than a year and was on duty in Korea. He now is employed as a painter. A reception was held at the home of the bride immediately following the ceremony for relatives and close friends of the families. The couple left for a wedding trip through the south. Upon their return they will reside for the present with the bride’s parents at Braddock.
