I Francis Addlesberger of Frederick County and the State of Maryland being sick and weak in Body but of Sound perfect mind and memory therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my Body and knowing that it is a appointment for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and recommend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and for my Body I recommend it to the Earth to be Buried in a decent manner by the discretion of my Executor hereafter named And with respect to my Worldly Affairs I give and dispose of the same in manner and form as follows. First I give and bequeath unto my Grandchild Elizabeth Quarter one Bond No. 12 at fifty pounds due the fifteenth day of April in the year eighteen hundred and seven given from Jacob Graft, Henry Wearheimor, and George Nace the purchasers of my Real Estate----Item. I give and bequeath to my son John Addlesberger and my Daughter Cathrine Lanzel one Bond No. 9 at fifty pounds due on the fifteenth day of April eighteen Hundred three given as aforesaid to be equally Divided between the said John and Cathrine-----Item. I give and bequeath unto my son George the Sum of seven pounds Currant money to be paid by my Executor------ Item. I give and Bequeath unto my son Peter the Sum of eight pounds Current Money to be paid by my Executor----I give and bequeath to my children Thomas, John, Peter, George, and Cathrine the sum of one Hundred and forty pounds Current Money to be equally divided between them. Lastly I make constitute appoint and ordain my Son John Executor of this my last will and Testament and do hereby revoke disannul and disallow all other will or wills Testament or Testaments Esecutor or Executors heretofore made named or nominated ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my last will and Testament In witnefs whereof I have here unto set my hand and Affixed my seal this 7th day of August 1800. Frantz Adelsperger (SEAL) Signed Sealed Published and Delivered by the said Francis Addlesberger as his last Will and Testament in presence of James Mark Henry Fox Andrew Shaver Frederick County November 19th. 1800 Then came John Addlesperger and made Oath on the Holy Evanges of Almighty God the Aforegoing Instrument of writing is the True and whole will and Testament of Francis Addlesperger late of Frederick County Deceased that hath come to his hands and popsefsion and that he Doth not know of any other Geo Murdock Reg. Frederick County November 19th 1800. Then came James Mark one of the subscribing witnefses to the aforegoing last will and Testament of Francis Addlesperger late of Frederick County Deceased and Solomnly Affirmed & Declared that he did see The Testator therin named Sign and Seal this Will At same time Henry Fox one other of the Subscribing witnefses to said will made Oath on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God that he did see the Testator therein named Sign and Seal this Will that they Heard him publish pronounce and Declare the same to be his last will and Testament that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their Apprehensions of a Sound and disposing mind memory and understanding that they respectively subscribed their names as Witnefses to this Will in the presence and at the request of the Testator And that they did also see Andrew Sharer the other Subscribing Witnefs Sign his name as a Witnefs to said Will in the presence and at the request of the Testator and all in the presence of each other 6 sides Geo Murdock Reg.r
