These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by other organizations. ************************************************************************ In the name of God, Amen, I Margaret DOYLE of Frederick County in the state of Maryland being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say, First and principally I commit my soul into the hands of almighty God and my body to the earth, to be decently buried at the discretion of my executor herein after named and after my debts and funeral charges are paid, I give, bequeath and devise unto my niece, Ann Rebecca DOYLE, daughter of George DOYLE deceased, and her heirs, all the rest and residue of my property and estate, of every description. And I do hereby constitute and appoint my brother Henry DOYLE to be sole executor of this my last will and testament, revoking and annulling all former wills by me heretofore made, ratifying and confirming this and none other to be my last will and testament; In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 29th day of September in the year of our Lord 1846. James Whitehill Hugh McAleer Samuel D Ways State of Maryland Frederick County to wit On the 22nd day of April 1847 came Henry DOYLE and made oath on the Holy & Evangly of Almighty God, that the foregoing instrument of writing is the true whole will and testament of Margaret DOYLE late of Frederick County deceased, that has come to his hands and possession, that he received the same from the testatrix for safe keeping and that he does not know of any other. Test Thomas Lappington State of Maryland Frederick County to wit On the 22nd day of April 1847 came James Whitehill and Samuel D. Ways, two of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing last will and testament of Margaret DOYLE late of Frederick County deceased, and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God, that they did see Margaret DOYLE the testatrix therein named, sign and seal this will; that they heard her publish pronounce and declare the same to be her last will and testament; that at the time of her so doing she was to the best of their apprehensions of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, and that they respectively subscribed their names as witnesses to said will at the request and in the presence of the testatrix and that they did also see Hugh McAlaer the other subscribing witness sign his name as witness to said will at the request and in the presence of the testatrix and are in the presence of each other Test Thomas Lappington
