All Rights Reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/md/mdfiles.htm ********************************************************* Will of Flayll Payne (Flayle Payne) Frederick Co., MD October 7th, 1764 In the Name of God Amen This seventh day of October in the year of our Lord 1764 I Flayll Payne of Fred'k County in the Provance of Maryland being week but of perfect memory thanks be to God for it Calling to mind the mortalty of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die I do make and ordain this my Last will amd testament that is to say Principally & first of all - I give and recomend my sole into the hands of almighty God that gave it and my body I recommend to the Earth to be buried in a Desant x x x x and Christain Burial at the discretion of x x Exectores Nothing doubting but at the ginorall Resurection I shall Receve (receive) the same again by the mighty Powers of God I as Touching such wordly Estate a area that it has pleased God to bless me with in this life I give demise and dispose of the same in the following manner and form Item first I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Payn that track of land called Payns Industry to him and his Heirs forever - Secondly I give and bequeath to my son John Payn the upper part of my track of land called Payns delight beginning at the mouth of the upper half and at the mouth of Spring branch and so running with Branch to Line it to him and his Heirs forever Thirdly Flayl Payn my son I Leave Executor to which I give the half of the other part of Track of land called Payns delight and other part of is to my son Peter Payn to them and their Heirs forever Flayl Payn my Executor I give the third part of the ?Remenon of manible? after and the other two Part to be equily divided betwen Peter Payn and John ?Beal? for them and their heirs for Ever Martha Nichols my dahter I leave one Shilling Sterling in Witness set my hand and fix my seal Flayll (his mark) Payne (SEAL) Test.
