The survey of the cemetery was done by George C. and Margaret Tomlinson Strickland on July 13, 1978. On the date of the survey, Eileen Dudley lived in the Stone House Inn. In 1851, Elizabeth Magraw had a stone wall placed around the cemetery, at the entrance was a marker inscribed: TOMLINSON CEMETERY 1851 Erected by Elizabeth Magraw In the center of the cemetery is a large monument with "TOMLINSON" "Erected by Surviving Relatives, 1851" inscribed on it. The top of the marker was laying on the ground near the base of the monument.
