OBITUARY
HOLLINGSHEAD
Mrs. Elizabeth Ann HOLLINGSHEAD, died, Friday, March 1st at Shawsville, 
Harford county, Md. She was one of Harford county's oldest residents, being 
born August 16th, 1811, within half a mile of the place where she died.
     She was a remarkable well preserved woman, being able to attend to 
business affairs up until within a month of her death.
     She is survived by three children: Mrs. Mary FLETCHER of Harford county, 
Mrs. Sara Elizabeth HITCHCOCK, of Norrisville, Wm. Henry HOLLINGSHEAD, one of 
the wealthiest oil operators of Clarion county, Pa., Besides the three 
children, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great grand 
children survive her, four generations attending her funeral, several of the 
great great grandchildren being ten or twelve years of age. Interment took 
place last Sunday, at Ayres's Chapel.
