I give and bequeath to my loving wife Cassandra Willson during her life her choice of one of the rooms in my dwelling house one negro woman named Sarah one feather bed and furniture one chest of drawers six chairs her choice of one of the tables as much pewter and chania as she chooses a riding chair and geares theretwo belonging and the two horses which goes in the chair and my son Samuel is to find a boy to drive the chair and my will is that my sons William and Samuel pay to their Mother each of them twelve pounds ten shilling currant passing money yearly and every year during her life and a sufficient of provisions yearly out of there own estates. 2nd I give and bequeath to my youngest son Samuel Willsonand his heirs and assigns for ever my dwelling plantations called Aquillas Inheritance being about three hundred acres and one hundred and eighty nine acres of leased part of a tract of land called good neighbourhood enlarged adjoining Aquilas Inheritance which I bought of John Harris I likewise give to my son Samuel twelve negroes and there increes viz. Harry Cloe, Bobb Henry Faney, Clem, Sarah, Bettey, Sausce Hiram, Sukey and London, two cows and calves five head of sheep two sows and piggs one feather bed and furniture the horse he now rides & a mare colt at three years old… 3rd. I give and bequeath to my daughter Rachel Willson two hundred acres of land part of a tract of land called Gibsons Park beginning for the two hundred acres of land one hundred and sixty perches distance from the beginning of the north line of the whole tract and running one hundred and sixty perches to the end of the said line then east two hundred perches then south one hundred and sixty perches then west two hundred perches to the beginning the aforesaid two hundred acres I give to her and the heirs of her body lawfully begotten for ever, but for want of such heirs I give the said land to my sons William and Samuel equally divided I likewise give to my said daughter nine negroes vizt: Jane, Hagas, Flora, Ben, Poll, Pheeby, Jacob, Rachael and Adam, and there Increes but if she have no lawfull heirs they are to be divided between my sons Wm and Samuel. I likewise give her my Sd daughter my black riding mare and her coult, the best fether bed and furniture two cows and calves five sheep & two sows and piggs 4th. I give and bequeath to my son Wm Willson and his heirs and assigns for ever the remainder part of Gibsons Park containing four hundred acres I likewise give him my said son William six negroes and there increes Vizt. David, Leander, Charles Dinah, Betty and Jane my young bay mare and coult and a graw coult two cows and calves five sheep two sows and piggs besides what I have already given him….. I give unto my daughter Rachael all the remainder part of my estate to be sold and disposed by my two sons William and Samuel and that they collect the money for my said daughter without comittions for there transaction, of the same for my said daughter – 5th. My will and desire is that the five negroes hereafter mentioned Vzt. Have there freedom in manner and form following Negroes Bristol and Fanney I give them there freedom at the time of my death or as soon as my debt is paid to John Harris I give them one heifer with calf two ews with lamb and one sow with pigg and there bedding and that my son William build them a house on his land and the use of twenty acres of land during there lives to till Negroes Adam and Affee I give them there freedom at the time of my death or as soon as my debt is paid to John Harris one heifer with calf two ews with lamb one sow with pigg and my son Samuel is to build them a house to live in and the privaledge of twenty acres of land to till during there lives on his land and my sons William and Samuel are to charge them no rent for the same. And lastly my will and desire is that my estate be not divided until my debt is paid to John Harris and my Bonds taken up In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seale this Eighteenth day of February Anno Domini one thousand seven hundred and seventy four… William Wilson signed sealed and delivered in presents of us.
