William Wilson’s Will Know all men by these presents that I William Wilson of Harford County and State of Maryland being in a pore state of health but of sound disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following viz. After all my just debts and funeral charges are paid I give and bequeath to my beloved wife one third part of my land beginning at John Wilson and Joshua Husband deleition line and running across the hill until it makes a corner to take in the spring and spring house then to a corner belonging to Richard Hawkins and William Cox if not enough by going to the corner to take in one third of my land then their must be more added next adjoining until it takes one third of my land its my will that the fence from the last corner mentioned until it comes to the gate by the home fence be moved on the line between my wifes part and the other part and also the fence from the gate to the first corner to be moved on the line between my wifes part and the other and to be and remain a fence between the two parts of land. Item I give to my wife my riding chear one negro boy and one negro girl the boy named Lincoln the girls name Moriah if she should chuse them if not any two she may chuse also one third part of all the rest of my personal estate the negroes excepted only such as are willed to her, the land I have willed to my wife its my will that after the death of my wife that my son William Wilson Junr shall have to by his paying to his two brothers and six sisters twenty five pounds each. Item its my will and desire that after my debts are paid that all of my estate both real and personal to be kept in the hands of my wife and children for four years that the children may be schooled and my family maintained out of the profits arising therefrom. Item its my will that at the end of four years after my death that all my personal estate be divided equally among all my children and all my land that remains after my wife shear be laid of also sold and the money arising therefrom to be also equally devided among all my children. Item in case my son George Wilson should incline to study phisick after he gets his education its my will that the expenses thereof to be paid out of his shear of my estate. Its my will and desire that as several of my children have had several thing in life time not charged but after the amount be ascertained that the amount shall stand in part of their shear of the divise bequeathed to them so that all my children may be equal in my estate its my will that any money that I let my daughter Mary Churchmans Husband have that she shall not be charged with. Item its my will that all the debts that is against my farm shall be paid out of the present crop with what money may be due to the farm the remainder to be for the support of my family. Lastly I appoint my beloved wife Executrix and my son William Executor of this my last will revoking all former wills by me made declaring this to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eleventh day of September Eighteen hundred & six.
