All Rights Reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/md/mdfiles.htm ********************************************************* Kent County Maryland Land Records Book 19 Pages 2 & 3 9 June 1758 This Indenture made this ninth day of June in the year of our Lord seventeen hundred and fifty eight between William Comegys and Isaac Comegys both of Kent County in the province of Maryland planters and Jacob Boots of the same planter and Sarah his wife of the one part and Henry Bodien of the same place of the other part . Whereas William Comegys Senior of Kent County deceased did by his last will devise his land called the Remainder Lying and being in the county aforesaid to his son William Comegys for life Remainder thereof to his the other said William's children which children where the aforesaid William Comegys Isaac Comegys and Sarah Boots and whereas the aforesaid tract of land called Remainder is an older survey than another tract of land called Wolfhock lying in the aforesaid county and now part held by the said Henry Bodien and the other part held by Samuel Wallis by virtue of a purchase made by the said Samuel Wallis of the said Henry Bodien to ---- such part of the land called the Wolfhoock to himself and to Samuel Wallis - part that the said Wallis purchased of him has purchased the right of the partys aforesaid to such - of their part of the land called the Remainder that runs into and takes away their land. Now this indenture ----------- that the said William Comegys Isaac Comegys and Jacob Boots and Sarah his wife for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and twelve pounds current money of Maryland to them in hand by the said Henry Bodien paid the receipt thereof they do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold released and ----- conveyed quit their ---- confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain and sell ----- ------ ----- convey and confirmed unto the said Henry Bodien and Samuel Wallis and to their heirs and assigns forever all that part of the aforesaid tract of land called the Remainder that lies within the ----- boundarys of the aforesaid land called Wolfhoock and which was ---- by the aforesaid William Comegys the Testator and was devised to the parties aforesaid containing by estimate - enty five acres of land to be the same more or less with all the improvements and appurtenances --- belonging and all the estate right title and interest both in said equity whatsoever that they the partys aforesaid or either of them or either of their heirs or any other person from ------ --------- --------- them have or may -- ----- claim --- - ---- or in ----- or ---- and --- --- and profits thereof of and in the possession or any part thereof .
