Copied as read In the name of God Amen I GEORGE BROWNING of Kent County in the Provinve of Maryland Planter being sick in body but of good disposing mind mind & memory thanks be given to God therefore & calling to mind the certanty of death & the uncertanty when it shall happen do make and ordain this to be my last will and testament in the manner & form following First commit my soul to God who gave it to me in the sure and certain hope of a joyful resurrection at the last day & my body to the Earth from whence it was taken to be buried in a christian like manner as shall seem meet to --------------(long line here that makes me think the the guy that transcribed it origanally from the original, could not read the writing) hereafter mentioned & and as touching my real & personal Estate wherewith it pleased God to bless me with, I give & dispose of the same as hereafter mentions-2nd lyI will that all my just debts & funeral charges be first paid and satisfied-3rd ly I give & bequeath to my sister Elizabeth all that parcel of land I bought of John Raylay-4th I give & bequeath to my sister Mary Browning all my personal Estate except my horse Rocks which I will to Benjamin Palmer in case he pays to John Reyley Eight pounds nineteen shillings current money & five hundred pounds of Tobacco, otherwise the whole to my sister Mary Browning disposal.-5thly I do hereby nominate & appoint my Sister Mary Browning my whole and sole Excutrix of this my will & testament, making void & of none effect all other wills heretofore by me made & do make this my last will & testament. In Witness where of I have hereto Set my hand & seal this 26th day September anno Dominis 1732----- signed & sealed & published &} decared to be his last will &} Testament in presence of Jms (?) Rogers Hanh Barnett.Charles Quigley Noverber the 24th day of 1732- Came Jms Rogers & Charles Quigley two of the subscribing Evidencees & make oathe on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God that they saw Geor Browning the testator sign& seal the within instrument of writing & at the same time heard him publish & declare the same to be his last will & testament & that at the time of his so doing & saying he was of sound & disposing mind & memory to the best of their understanding & that they signed as Evideners thereto in the presence of the said testator George Browning & they further make oath that they saw Hannah Barnett the other evidencee sign as an evidencee to the within will & testament in their presence & in the prescence of as the Said Testator.
