   In the mane of God Amen I Edward Tarant beeinge very sicke of bodie but of pfecte sence and
Memory thancks bee to God, doth now make my last will and Testament in maner and form followinge
   I bequeath my bodie to the ground and my soull unto God tht gaue it in Confident hope of a 
Joyfull Ressurection to liue foreuer with Christ my Redeemer
   I giue and bequeath my Estate after my Just debtes are satisfied unto my sister Rebecka and 
my sister Elizabeth and to my Nurst in Bristoll to bee equally deuided betwixt them only on on
hohds of tobacco unto Capt~ Joseph Wickes for his tender Care of mee in my sicknes whom I doe
by this my last will and Testament apont my Ouerseer In trust to see this my will pformed, as 
allsoe I giue unto Charles steward three of my hoggs and unto this my last will and Testament I
haue sett my hand this 21th of Nouembr 1655
