Margaret Ruth Carney born March 3 1920 in Florida, daughter of Brewer Calloway 
PEDDY and his wife, Margaret Ellen McKAIN PEDDY. Margaret married Robert D 
Carney. She was survived by three daughters, Patricia Ellen Ferguson of 
Germantown MD; Kathleen Ann Carter of Rockville MD; Maureen L Carney of 
Clarksburg MD; a son, Michael Brewer Carney of Stephens City VA; 11 
grandchildren and a brother, John Taylor Peddy of Clearwater FL. She was 
predeceaded by her husband and two sisters, Martha Peddy Roach and Peggy Peddy 
Evans. Mrs Carney was a member of Greenridge Baptist Church, Clarksburg MD. Mrs 
Carney was buried in Arlington National Cemetery beside her husband.
