Browningsville Items – The funeral of Reuben Engle, who died Feb. 5, 
took place at Bethesday Church on the 7th inst.  Rev. Guinn, pastor 
of this circuit, officiated.  The pall-bearers were James W. Burdett, 
Wm. T. Turner, Washington L. Day, Wm. Lawson, Wm. T. Bolton and Geo. 
W. Walker.  Wm. Lewis, of Kemptown, undertaker.  Mr. Engle was a 
merchant of this village and a man whose loss to our community will 
be strongly felt.
