At around 11:00 am on 12/11/33, she had a second stroke and called her neighbor over. Mrs. French, the neighbor, called Dr. Little over and he provided care. Most of the family was called and were by her side when she died at her home on 120 Albany Ave, Takoma Park. She had been a resident of Takoma Park, Md, since 1907, when she married Mr. James Taylor, who died in 1917. Nellie was the sister of Edgar V. Crittenden of Takoma Park. Her parents were Henry W. Crittenden and Margaret E. (Voorheis) Crittenden. Funeral was held at her residence with Rev. R. Paul Shearrer conducting the service. Interment took place in the family plot in Charles Town, W. Va.
