Walter Hodges Will (Montgomery County, MD) Liber Y folio 362 and Liber 4 f olio 
326 Date:  June 21, 1842 (no record witnesses appeared for probate) --Son, Charles 
C. Hodges of Ohio $1 --Son, Thomas Hodges $1 --Son, John Hodges $1 --Dau, Mary 
Hodges, 150 acres and 1/2 house --Remainder to daughters Ary Ann Jones and Sarah 
Hodges Ex:  Mary Hodges, Daughter Wit:  Samuel L. Hays, William Hilleary, Abrahm 
S. Hays. 


Additional Comments:
There is record that Mary refused to be executrix and shared administration of 
the will with William Jones, the husband of her sister Ary Ann.

When his personal estate was inventoried in February 1844, it was valued at a 
total of $2118.70, which included 8 slaves valued at $1500.
