These electronic pages may NOT be reproduced in any format for profit or presentation by other organizations. _________________________________________________________________________ THIS DEED, Made this twenty second day of August, in the year eighteen hundred and ninety-nine, by Frederick Dallam, of Prince George's County, in the State of Maryland, Trustee as hereinafter set forth-- WHEREAS, by a decree of the Circuit Court for Prince George's County, In Equity, dated the sixth day of June, in the year eighteen hundred and ninety-nine, and passed in a cause in said Court depending, wherein Michael J. Tighe and others were plaintiffs and Mary A. H. Fogerty and others were defendants, the above named Frederick Dallam was duly appointed trustee with authority to sell the real estate in the proceedings in said cause mentioned. AND WHEREAS, after having given bond and complied with all the other requisites of the decree, the said trustee did, on the first day of July, in the said year, sell the property hereinafter described to Michael J. Tighe, at public auction, for the sum of two thousand and ten dollars, ($2010.00) which said sale has been duly reported to and ratified by said Court, and the purchase money fully paid to the said trustee. NOW, THEREFORE, THIS DEED WITNESSETH, that in consideration of the premises and the sum of one dollar, the said Frederick Dallam, Trustee as aforesaid, does hereby grant and convey unto the said Michael J. Tighe all the right and title of all the parties to the aforesaid cause, in and to, -All that tract, piece or parcel of ground and premises, situate and lying in Prince George's County aforesaid, being a part of a tract of land called More's Prosperity, it being a part of the same land which was allotted to Henry Snowden in the division of the real estate of his father, the late Nicholas Snowden, and particularly described as follows: BEGINNING for the same at the end of the twentieth line of Ephriam Ploughman's part of said land at a stone now planted on the South side of the Montgomery Road leading to Laurel Factory, and running with said road, as corrected, with one-half degree allowance for variation, North, seventy-one and one-half degrees West, fifty-two perches; North, sixty-nine degrees West, ten perches; North, fifty-eight degrees West, fourteen perches; North, sixty-four and one-half degrees West, twenty-seven perches; North, fifty-two and one-half degrees West twelve and one-half perches to a stone at Putman's Land, formerly Arthur P. Ridgeleys'; then, with his lines, South, thirty-one degrees West, nineteen perches to a stone; South, nineteen degrees East, one hundred and sixty-nine perches to a stone; then leaving said land and running North, sixty-three and three quarter degrees East, one hundred and ten perches to a stone; then North, twenty-four and one-half degrees West, eighty-seven and one-half perches to the beginning, containing eighty-seven and one-half acres of land, more or less. TOGETHER with the improvements thereon, and the rights and appurtenances thereto belonging or appertaining. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above granted property unto the said Michael J.
