Sunday Malachi Ezell, Co. B., Thirteenth Mississippi Infantry, died at the Maryland Line Confederate Soldiers home, at Pikesville, of consumption, having served gallantly and faithfully during thte war. When it ended he settled in Prince George's county, where he married, and for years past resided at St. Denis, this county. Though far from home and family he was tenderly nursed in his last hours with all the affection and respect which loving hearts could give. He was buried Monday at Loudon Park at 2 P.M.
