I Lurana Hamilton of Prince Georges County Relict of Doc'r. Thos. Hamilton being weak in Body but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof and being desirous to settle my wordly affairs and thereby be the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please God to call me hence as therefore make and publish this my last will in manner and form following that is to say Item I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Thomas Hamilton my Plantation whereon I now dwell being part of Mount Calvert manor known by the name of Groom's last Gift containing by patent one hundred and forty seven and three fourth of an Acre more or less with all the Improvements thereon to him his heirs and assigns for ever and also on negro Boy named Walter to my said Grandson Thomas Hamilton. Now what I have Given to my Grandson Thos Hamilton is not to Debar him from his Proportionable part of the Estate agreeable to the last will and Testament of Doct. Thomas Hamilton. In Testimony where of I have hereunto set my conclusion hand and affixed my seal this fourth Day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven Hundred Eighty and Eight.
