I Eleanor Harvey of Prince George's County in the state of Maryland being in years, weak in body but of sound mind and memory considering the certainty of Death & the uncertainty of the time thereof and being desirous to settle all my worldly affairs do therefore make and ordain this my last will & testament in manner & form following First I hereby implore the mercy of almighty God and pardon of sin through the alsufficient merit of our Lord and second I ____ Christ and by the vanishing grace of his Holy spirit I hope for eternal life My Body to be decently buried at the discretion of my executor hereafter named and as for my temporal Estate which God has been pleased to bless me with after my just debt and funeral expenses are fully paid. I give, devise and bequeath as followeth I gave & bequeath to my son Wm Groome Harvey the tract of Land whereon I now live containing fifty acres more or less it being part of Mount Calvert manor & also the remaining part of my Estate to be equally divided between my children & granchild Lucy Harvey. Now God bless you all & give you grace to do his will. Amen. And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my son Wm Groome Harvey to be executor of this my last will & Testament. Revoking and annulling all former wills by me heretofore made ratify & confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & affixed my seal this 22 day of May one Thousand Seven hundred and Ninety Five.
